Mr Bin is the next chapter of Clear View Recycling, a Sydney-based recycling and waste operation. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through our website and booking process.

When you request a quote or book a hard rubbish collection, we collect the details we need to do the job: your name, phone number, email address, collection address, suburb, preferred collection date, and a description of the items.

You can also upload photos of your items. We use these photos to assess volume, access and any recycling or handling requirements before we quote.

We use your information to prepare and send your quote, confirm your booking, arrange collection, communicate with you on the day, and keep a record of the service provided.

We may also use it to respond to your questions, follow up after a collection, or meet legal and regulatory requirements such as waste transport record-keeping.

Your information is stored in a secure backend database and is only accessible to the Mr Bin team and any trusted crew members who need it to complete the collection.

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your information from unauthorised access, misuse or loss. However, no internet-based service can be 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with people who need it to deliver the service, such as the collection crew or recycling and disposal partners involved in handling your load.

We do not use your contact details for unrelated marketing, and we do not share lists with third-party advertisers.

Our site uses only the cookies and local storage needed for basic functionality, such as keeping your session secure and remembering form progress. We do not use invasive tracking or advertising cookies.

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the service, respond to any follow-up questions, and meet our legal and tax record-keeping obligations. After that, we delete or de-identify it where practical.
